ABOUT FRIENDSHIP CHILDCARE CENTER
Friendship Childcare Center has been providing families in the Metro Detroit area quaility childcare services for 18 years. We are excited about our newly opened center which is located in the former Yost Academy school building.
Our building also houses the Hartford Head Start program with 104 children enrolled. We are able to offer Wrap Around Care for these families. That is hourly childcare between the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 to 6:30, p.m. In addition to these hours we can also provide childcare on day's that the
Head Start program is closed
Friendship Childcare Center curriculum is play based. Children learn thru play.
The classroom is organized into different learning centers. Arts and crafts, easel painting, story corner, kitchen area, and block area. Other activites include plenty of outdoor play, and in school field trips.
Children bring a lunch and drink everyday, with 2 healthy snacks provided by the center.
We offer a flexible schedule, full day, half day, hourly before and after school care, and summer camp program.
We are open Monday thru Friday, from 6:00 am, to 6:30 p.m., year round. We are only closed on the major holidays. And we stay open on snow day's when public schools are closed.
